Avenue Pub? Crazy to think a student was just shot down the street from there roughly 6 hours ago. I'll be making the trip to New Orleans/Avenue Pub next week (Thanksgiving). Any new beers I should try? I haven't been back in a little over a year.

SBD is an Alpine Pure Hoppiness. Deceptively drinkable even with the 8% ABV. Between Ave Pub and Courtyard Brewery down the street, you should be able to drink the best New Orleans has to offer, depending on what you want/like.
