re: How the hell do you get a toddler to take medicine?

Went through this with my now 6 year old when she was that age. We tried putting it in coke in the very bottom of the coke bottle. She wasn't allowed to drink coke and thought she was big stuff swigging from the 20 oz bottle. Risky though bc if she rejects it you don't know how much they got. Otherwise we got a medication syringe, held her little butt down and slowly and patiently dripped it into her screaming/half choking mouth. Then follow with a treat and hugs so they can calm the frick down.
