You're going to get shredded by the tactical guys for wanting external safeties.
Sig makes good stuff. I shot a DA/SA .45 (don't remember the model) and it was nice. Very easy to shoot.
There's lots of options out there for exposed hammer guns. They're generally DA/SA which most people dislike. It takes a good bit of shooting to get used to.

Either a P220 or P245. My P245 is almost certainly the best shooting pistol I will ever own.
(No safety, by the way, but has the traditional Sig decocker.)
