I think if LSU had a much better offense, then defensive issues wouldnt be magnified like they are.


Currently they're 28th in Total Defense in the NCAA.

6th in Total Defense in the SEC.

I think that's right. If LSU isn't going to consistently have a top offense, they absolutely always need a loaded defense. It is the Miles formula. Sadly, a top 30 defense isn't going to get it done under the Miles formula. LSU being 50th in scoring defense is just not good enough no matter what.

When we start to make excuses for defenses, you know shite is bad. Les Miles philosophy fails without a great defense. LSU is known for great defenses. Les method of success=
Run the ball, great defense, and great special teams execution. He recently hired a proven failure at two of those positions. Lolololololololololllolllolololol.
