Donnie Darko.
It was the first indie movie that I had ever seen.
I used to only watch a set of 5 blockbuster movies and go to new releases in the theater.
Because of Donnie Darko I had to see every film for that type of new experience.
It might not be the weirdest movie to many people, but it was to me at the time.
I sat staring at the screen for 30 mins after credits rolled...and it started a fascination with film.
