Yep be careful for what you ask for it is harder than you think to keep it going or when you have to turn a program around. Ask Texas, Miami, USC, Florida, Nebraska, Michigan, etc.

Some of these do not fit.

Who did USC fire? Pete left for the NFL.
Where was Texas going WITH MACK?
How is UF even on this list? They fired Zook and hired Urban. It's the epitome of thinking big. When Urban fricked them, they went for a high ceiling in Muschamp. When it didn't work out they went for a high ceiling in McElwain, who has already locked up the SECE. UF is literally the opposite of the point you're trying to make.

Nebraska is probably the best example with Solich.

You didn't mention OSU, but they're another example of thinking big. They fired Cooper and since have won NCs with Tressel and Urban.
