Look this is very simple.

Teams we played pre Alabama were not strong.
We all had an over inflated opinion on how good LSU was.
We played hard vs Bama but they are better.
Letdown vs ark and got beat.

I don't believe ole miss is better than last year and I don't believe lsu is worse. MEMO: LSU won.
Still have good chance to win last two.
We are young team that will be better next year.

Biggest concern I have is the downturn in talent LSU has in the trenches.
Both sides of the ball, defense in particular.

Wtf has happened to Godchaux and Neal? Seriously they are non factors.

LSU needs to get off this dbu Schtick and get back to big boy football.

Team is average at best at DT. LSU hasn't had a great defense (and in return a championship season) in the Saban/Miles era without a great DL. We have recruited pitifully at DT. Gaping hole and were hoping freshman will come in and change things

DiNardo got 5 seasons, 1995-1999. He was 4-7 then 2-9 in his last two years. NO ONE defended him nor wanted him to stay by mid-1999 season.

Les has deficiencies no doubt. But do not compare him to Gerry DiNardo who was TERRIBLE and had two losing seasons. Believe me, 8-5 is way better than 2-9.

I always laugh when people talk about "remember the Dinardo years". People forget that Dinardo had good teams up until his final season. That last season, when our offense was awesome but, the defense was worst in the league, is what did him in. But, I enjoyed the Dinardo years myself. During his time here we were.......

Yeah, it was just great watching us get skull-fricked by Ole Miss and Kentucky those final 2 years.

True. On the defensive side, only one of our DLinemen would see the field for the Gumps.
