I posted this on the MSB a few weeks ago, but didn't get that many responses. I'm going there for work next week. Have any OTers been there? If so, what did you think? I'll be playing courses 2,6,7 & 8 and staying at the Carolina hotel.

It's a great place. 2 is a special course you can see why it hosts tournament golf so well. 4 and 8 are the nicest courses aesthetically.

Go eat in the village and drink at the bars. There are several good places to eat. The most underrated part of the whole thing to me was breakfast at the hotel.

Everything is within walking distance, and the resort has shuttles that can drive you wherever you want (village, tees, other hotel buildings, etc.). Don't miss breakfast at the Carolina.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier.

The entire place is "the Village". All of the golf courses, houses, restaurants. If you've ever been to Hot Springs Village in Arkansas Pinehurst is a 5 star version of that.
