Oh dude I accepted that years ago, even before the Rematch. It's why I'm one of the biggest Miles supporters on here and don't get all bent out of shape because we haven't been able to get over the Bama hump recently.

While we have games that we lose that we shouldn't or don't look as good as wed all like, just like every other team, including Bama, I honestly think Miles has this program about as close to it's ceiling as possible when it comes to consistency, recruiting both in state and nationally, building a staff, and overall identity and values of the program.

He has raised us to a level beyond where we were when Saban was here, and I honestly can't think of any other coach that would do better over the long term other than maybe Meyer, who I don't trust or respect, Harbaugh, who would only have come to college for his alma mater, or Carroll, who I'm pretty sure is already gainfully employed.

I like Fisher a lot, not any more than Miles but not any less, but he is in a perfect situation in the ACC, and anyone the thinks that he is just longing to leave that job to return to BR just needs to get over themselves. It would be a lateral move, at BEST, and we wouldn't be able to outbid FSU anyway.

But this all started because some Gump came on here babbling about Florida in 96 to justify Bama in 2011, and I just can't abide bullshite like that
