Not only did the Gumps stomp our arse in ever phase of the game. They humiliated us by leap over our entire line for the block. Unbelievable!!

That and the 55 yard FG. I mean are you serious? The notorious inconsistent kid kicks that long arse FG with a little room to spare.

This should have been a penalty I thought.
Didn't we lose a game to Auburn some years back when this was called against us.
Not that it would have mattered last night.

not a penalty he didn't use anyone to launch himself. BDP should have been fired a month ago

Restrictions for Blocking Kicks
The defensive team has some other restrictions when it tries to block a field goal in college football. Defenders cannot jump on a teammate or be boosted up by a teammate in order to be higher to block the field goal attempt. Doing so will be a penalty and if you block the kick or the offense misses the kick, they will get a 15-yard penalty and a re-kick opportunity. In addition, players cannot hurdle or jump over the offensive line to block a kick. That infraction will be assessed a 15-yard penalty as well.
Still agree 100% about BDP

that is not BDP fault.
Belichek did the same thing in NE 2 or 3 weeks ago. If you have someone who can jump and not touch the center you should do it every time. They need to change the rule and make that illegal because it is indefensible

It almost looked like he went right between them though. No defensive tackle is jumping over offensive lineman.

Our guy never lifted his head up...staring at the ground and got leaped.
Still a penalty that wasn't called though.

How do you expect them to block a kick when they are pushing through down low? Ain't happening. Good play....our special teams just sucks. Never even crossed their minds that someone would attempt to block a point after
