Why would anyone want to shoot a cartridge that was developed in the 1800's and can't be factory loaded for modern guns because someone might plug a round into an old gun and blow it up? I guess the thought of shooting grandpa's gun is appealing.

I killed my first three deer with an old Marlin 30/30!!

It used to scare the crap out of me to chamber a round because I knew that I had to barely release the hammer...

How'd I know you would be in here hating in 30-30's

Still love using my dad's that I used growing up. For me it's a confidence thing. I hunt a lot of places I can't see very far so it works fine. And when I pull the trigger they lay down.
