Mostly better. Feel it when I lift arm to turn on light switch or raise arm when putting on suit jacket or dress shirt. Not painful, but I know it's there. Can't really sleep on my side on that shoulder. All those issues were gone for a year or so. No complaints, I can kayak, play golf etc so I'm good.
After first surgery the 4 weeks of PT was horrible as they tried to break through the scar tissue. I was bruised from them pulling on the arm. They eventually decided my collar bone may snap before arm moved like it should and did the second surgery. CPM chair was delivered to house before second surgery and I started using it same day as surgery while nerve block was still active. Capsular release surgery was amazing. The next day I Could raise hands to surrender or put them behing me as if being handcuffed. Could not believe the difference. I went from being pulled down the pt table by my arm to raising it on my own.
I was taking heavy pain meeds to attend PT to try to get shoulder to release And then it was like a well oiled machine after second surgery.
