I've never gotten it myself but I've had to give it to patients and I've heard it burns like hell. We dilute it with lidocaine to help some. I always hate when I have to give a kid that. Most of the time it's a toddler and the dose is too much medicine for one injection so I have to get another nurse to help so we can give both shots at once.
