To me -

Transgender: Born male but identify more as a female (male who wears makeup, girl clothes, etc.) but still has male parts.

Born female but identifies more as a male. Wears men clothing, men cologne, some even go as far as to obtain hormone treatment to speed up hair growth process to become more manly and to lower their voice.

Transvestite:

When a child is born with both male and female anatomy.

Bruce Jenner is transgendered. He is a man with a penis and self identifies as a woman. Dresses as a woman, is portrayed in the media as a woman, and wants to even called Kaitlyn or whatever the spelling is. However, he still has a penis. Therefore still making him a guy and not courageous at all. If you want to self identify as a woman, cut your dick off and then you can use the ladies room.

The part in parenthesis is what confuses me so much about this stuff. They seem to be against gender norms, but then generalize being a female as wearing dresses, wearing makeup, etc. Hasn't there been a movement to remove labels on toys as "girl" toys and "boy" toys? If there were 2 options for someone;

1. Born a man, but identify as a female by wearing makeup.
2. Born a man, identify as male, but enjoy wearing "feminine" attire

The second one is way less confusing and doesn't involve a litany of made up identities.
