Our beagle went blind and deaf slowly. She adjusted to it ok. She was actually easier to deal with once she was mostly blind. As she had a harder time getting into trouble.

we knew it was time to put her down when she would fall down after doing basic stretches.

Dealing with aging pets is so hard.
