I'm talking about warranties dealing with the equipment. If you don't get a contract where labor and parts are covered for the first few years then you missed out.

Agreed.

Most of the stuff now is 1-2 years, parts and labor.

The service companies still want to charge $100 as "trip charge" and they take forever.
