Hanagriff covered a lot of it, but it goes back to Bryant for me. Bryant was a dunk and a cheat. Many rules were made (and subsequently broken) because/by him. Bryant was a 'good' coach until combined with the Alabama trash that was willing to bankroll his teams. Anyone who says LSU hates Bama because of Saban needs to be popped in the jaw - Bama was hated LONG before Saban went there and in fact was why many were so upset he joined their ranks.
