I like that they didn't spend a lot of unnecessary time building up to how she got to be who/what she is.
At first I thought the sister was just going to be a jealous bitch who Kara had to deal with the whole time.
The whole crashed prison thing is interesting. It doesn't give her much of a choice whether she wants to fight or not. They are coming for her.
