All of your statements are true. However, Harris had a good showing to finish the Miss St game and gave a false level of reality. He was also not as bad as he looked at Auburn, which can be attributed to "Bright Lights" of a big road game. He also was injured in that game. It appears that his coach only wanted to believe that the MSU performance was the real Harris, and ignored his injury, and his lack of readiness in the playbook. But to take it to the level of putting it out there that he should transfer, goes well beyond "pulling for your boy".

A related question, I did not want to start a separate thread. Suppose A Jennings did not come in a few plays at the end of games, and it fact, never played a down, which would have been feasible. Would the year be counted against him as far as eligibility?
