There are just as many posters who make a thread about the first thing that pops into their mind and before they: 1) search to see if similar topics have already been discussed, and 2) take one second to think logically before they post.

In regards to 1)...this was discussed several times after the game last night. These same 'pricks', as you call them, were not nearly so sarcastic when the question was first asked last night. The 100th time the question is asked? Excuse them if the sarcasm comes out.

Regarding 2)...do you honestly think...that if the placeholder was considered down at that point...that every fake field goal EVER would be not valid? (Not to mention every field goal and point after.) And that such would not have come up during the broadcast? I mean...really?

I'm truly amazed at this point at the sheer number of people who raised this very question in the last 18 hours. Trust me, the sarcasm has grown with every thread about this same subject...it's not just posters being pricks, it's posters being fed up with reading the same thing over and over and over.
