They'd have to drop prices. If the season ticket holders aren't buying then the regular fans surely won't.

Season ticket holders are likely not buying them because they weren't allowed to buy they own tickets. I ended up only buying one of my two I normally have.

They made this process a shite ton more complicated than it needed to be...

Step 1: Once the game was moved, send out an e-mail to ticket holders and give them first right of refusal for their own seats. Give it 24 hours, at that point...

Step 2: Open up the sale of unsold tickets to the gen pop.

Why act like this type of sale is unprecedented in the history of sports? Don't all pro teams that have playoffs sell their tickets like this?

Since this is not an LSU home game, they can't process the tickets thru their regular computer programs or their season totals will be skewed.

In a matter of days they had to throw together a barebones system to sell upwards to 100,000 tickets. LSU seems to have done an incredible job of making tickets available to everyone so quickly.

We are dealing with possibly billions of dollars in damage and lives disrupted for the better part of a year and someone is whining because they didn't get their way at a football game.

You can whine later. Now is the time to step up to the plate and help the people who so desperately need it!
