Question: Do you think an offensive tackle can see who a qb (standing behind him) points at?


Assisgnment calls are done by the linemen. Typically the center calls out mike, but there are a number of other blocking calls/changes that can come from dif positions on the oline. The qb/rb will usually callout potential blitzes from the edge.
