Sometimes I damn near have a nervous breakdown when I start to pronounce it while talking. I usually say jif, then gif with a hard g, then I'll say, you know, those moving pictures.

The worst part is most people just nod their head and acknowledge they understand, but they don't tell me which one is correct, so I end up having to do the same shite next time it comes up.

Pronouncing gif has taken minutes off of my life.
