Here's the issue, BDP and Les don't want the ball kicked to the back of the endzone for a touchback. They want it high and returnable so that the coverage team can try to tackle the ball carrier before he reaches the 25 yard line.

Seeing at how bad our coverage unit has been, it's time to abandon that strategy and go for touchbacks.

BOOM. This is a FACT and I have heard it straight from the man's mouth. And look....I have no problem with this in principal....and if you notice, Gamble did his job.....very high ball...good hang time...the damn coverage team just sucks at getting down field. We have no GUNNER.
