Basically the higher the score the more MOS' you can pick. In the Marine Corps they don't offer many signing bonuses for certain jobs. The score really matters if you're trying to go Nuke in Navy or higher air force shite. Those guys make bank.

If he has some college, get him to do OCS. They'll help pay his way through school after some initial training then he goes active later
