Any list without Johnny B. Goode is horseshite. Every guitarist worth a shite has covered this song and added their interpretations to the solo.
ETA: Michalel J. Fox is not worth a shite, so his cover doesn't count.

The solo on "Rock Around the Clock " as recorded by Bill Haley and the Comets was also pretty epic for that era of music. The solo was played by NYC session player Danny Cedrone who was paid $21 bucks for the effort.

He didn't actually play it in BTTF, he learned the riffs for the movie and intended to do it for real, but decided he couldn't pull it off. So while his fretting during the performance in the movie is pretty accurate, the actual sound was overdubbed by the guitar teacher that taught him the riffs.
