Having a discussion with a friend. If I remember correctly, a bar or 2 on Main St shut down after LSU fans bombarded them on game day and drank them dry. He doesn't believe me. Does anyone remember the names of the bars?

Sounds like an excuse to keep you drunk arse out of the bar but doesn't seem too plausible that the bar was "drank dry"

I know for Wisconsin last year, The flying Saucer was completely overwhelmed. Not sure if they were dry by the end of the night, but service sucked because they were not at all prepared.

They weren't drank dry, but Third Bar and Springbok ran out of most of their beer. A couple more expensive craft beers were the only things left besides liquor.

I know Third Floor Bar ran out of almost every kind of beer when we were there.

Flying Saucer has like 200 beers on tap. No way that was close to gone
