Man I've had it once a week my entire life. Had roasted chicken with rice and pan gravy tonight.

Wife makes pot roast, round steak or rump roast and rice and gravy most weeks because it is something everyone will eat.

And I'd eat the OP's plate. I like all different styles of gravy, thick, thin, chicken, beef, white, redeye, sausage you name it. Mashed potatoes go well with gravy. One of these days Count or Mouton will teach me this grease gravy they rave about.
