Yep, sometimes the memories are for the parents as well. My wife's sister took her 2 year old daughter. Lots of cute pictures of her giving characters huge hugs. Young kids can still have fun even if they don't remember it forever.

I get that there are plenty of other great places that you should take your kids. There is nothing wrong with a few Disney trips along the way too.
