love this point that always gets brought up in a Disney thread. It's like people think you shouldn't leave the house with a kid until it's 4-8yrs old. "Nah honey, I don't want to take junior baby to the zoo. He's only 2. Oh the mall? Nah, Sally won't remember her first trip to the Gap." Silly.

Yeah, because going to the zoo or the mall is exactly the same as going to WDW.

People always go to those two extremes...

"Bringing a small child in the middle of summer is hell"

"Do you never vacation with a small child?"

And as always, reality is somewhere in the middle and is strongly based on expectations and desires.

We brought a 1 yo last january. But it was a trip for us. We were running the races and spent a few days afterward. We go fairly often and haven't felt the need to do everything in every park in a single day. We brought family (parents and grandparents) who helped with the kid. And even had one day where we got a sitter so we could take one of the tours that doesn't allow people under 16.

Our next trip will be next November. He'll be 3 and, again, we're bring family (cousin, his wife and daughter). We'll be staying at Bay Lake Tower which is going to be great for mid-day break at Magic Kingdom.

I hate summer in Disney. Too hot for me.

ETA: But to the OP, Port Orleans (Riverside or FQ) is much better overall than CB. Smaller, quieter, better food choices. Neither has a leg up location wise since they're both EPCOT area resorts.

As far as memories go it is. You don't do shite with kids that young for their memories.

As for the OP's original question. Caribbean is nice but the bus is terrible. They're are multiple stops in the resort so if you're by the wrong one it makes for some interesting travel.
