Buy a long cable and tap into someone else's satellite? We had satellite trouble for McNeese and tapped into neighbors.

I have U-Verse and downloaded their app. Went to Best Buy and bought a $50 A/V adapter and a $10 HDMI cord and hooked it to the TV. Can use Wi-Fi or over cellular and projects in 1080. Looks great. If you just want the major channels, just use a wireless antenna.

some people have the big dome that is wireless
