Not an issue with non Gen. 1 Toyota hybrids. Unless you plan on keeping it past 250k miles or so.

Yeah, I wasn't getting on her, but batteries on hybrids will fail, just like any other battery.


From what I've seen 250K is very optimistic and they start degrading well before that.

A lot of older hybrids become somewhat unsellable, due to the immediate need of a $2500 battery replacement.
