There are a couple of gas stations around here that have it all figured out too. They have a food counter that serves hot lunches... chicken, sandwiches, corndogs, etc. You can't buy that stuff w/ food stamps.
BUT they also have a little refrigerated cabinet right next to the hot food counter and they take all the same food and put it in the cold cabinet. That stuff you can buy w/ food stamps apparently.
I guess the major turning point is whether the food you're buying is hot or cold.
