As you see there's a handful of people on here that will occasionally dive the rigs.
I haven't gone this year as much as I have in years past but I absolutely love it
ETA: who are the friends you know and what clubs are they in?
It has been a while since I was in that life. I remember Stan Smith catching big ole sharks. I knew some of the guys in the Hell Divers, Aqua Aces and the Sea Scamps.
I'd go to the rodeos with my husband and spent way too many Saturdays checking out checking out gear and BSing with the guys at Temento's or Harry's.
My honeymoon with my husband was 2 weeks of scuba diving.
I'm curious, once there was a Limo that often parked on Dearborn in Metairie (back in the late 90's, early 2000's). Would that have been you or someone you know? I seem to remember it was someone who was into rig diving.
If you ever meet a diver with a custom made speargun case that says "made by my wife", that would be my ex-husband. We've been divorced over a decade but he still loves that case and refuses to give it up no matter how much his gf's hate it

I also have stayed in touch with him and his son and continued to dive for over 20 years.
