As an African American I wish the organizers focused and the larger issues in the community like incarceration rates, black on black crime and education in our community.

The way black ppl are treated by some in society is awful but if we get our community more educated and reduce the amount of crime in our communities then our perception and treatment will improve.

When I try having conversations with many of my friends, I quickly get shot down anytime I bring up something opposing the BLM movement.

Just curious your thoughts on black exclusive events? For example a town in Georgia just had a "black rodeo" and another had a "black softball game/league". Also black entertainment television? Just curious your thought on that sort of thing as I feel we're much further along than this as a country.
