Lived in Leeds (Rothwell)in '97. My friend's cousin was Alan Smith. He was playing U17 for United then. He used to come around and hang out with us because we were older and cool. All my pals were United fans. Went to Elland Road for a few matches. shite, Leeds was actually good back then. 
Hated to see Smithy go to Man U., but I'm glad he got paid. It was very cool watching him get carried off the pitch at his last match with Leeds.
