For me it's not the actual part of dying that gets me. It's knowing that one day I won't be able to wake up and see a smiling face. I won't be able to watch a sunrise, or a sunset. I won't be able to laugh with friends, and cry with my family. These thoughts are literally so crippling to me that I have to fall asleep watching TV, or playing on my phone so I don't lay awake at night thinking of it all. I know we all die, but i'm not ready for it. Maybe when it's my time I will be, but not right now. Sometimes at night I catch myself thinking about it and it's an instant lump in the throat. I try curling up next to my wife for reassurance but it doesn't work. Thankfully she understands the difficulties I have with sleeping right away. I just wish there was some way to circumvent these thoughts and get them to go away.

You end up in a grocery store fighting some guy with lightning swords.

For some reason I'm terrified of dying of a heart attack. Way too common and has to be painful as shite.

Outside of the that I agree with your post. Not being able to laugh, lsu football, friends, family, etc.

well, i'm sorry you have so much fear over this unknown to you.
how do you KNOW what you will see or not see?

your fears are yours, but you don't need to keep them.
