Thanks for the replies. I am just curious why this isn't on the FIFA website or any other website making it official. I have always thought if you actually try and make a play for the ball and you are offsides then it will be called.

Say you are offsides and someone plays a through ball, the lineman will automatically throw up the flag. Most times the referee will stop play before you actually get a touch on the ball. What if I stop before I touch the ball and a teammate who was onsides beat the defender to the ball. The play would still be offsides.
I don't see what has changed.

That happened for Mexico a few years ago. Chicharito was off but didnt touch it. The goal was allowed i believe. Couldnt find a video. Anything that helps that trash team/country should be banned from the game. In fact, that trash team/country should be banned from the game. In further fact, that country should be banned.
