I'll say a few things. We've seen glimpses of this and that but we need to see him more on the field and see how his game and style developes. I certainly see traits of many people. Truth be told, if he has a blend of many of the wr's we talk about, he'll be very very good.

You can sit here and throw out Antonio Brown, Steve Smith, Randall Cobb certainly... he'll be just fine. He's got the ability to take screens and slants to the house and hopefully develops the knack for the long ball. He's a multi purpose weapon that seems to have the right attitude and inner drive to become great. Certainly has the right qb to do so for another couple years.

I'd say that is the most correct answer. Only an idiot would deny the guy has multiple skill sets (put the guy who called him just a possession type receiver in that category) and he showed flashes of all of them at various times in training camp and games before getting hurt.

If he continues to have that desire to be the best...he has the talent to make a run at it.

I'll answer your question, Blues: Steve Smith.
Cooks looks to me like a younger version of Steve Smith. Plenty of desire, good hands and plenty of speed to blow by a lot of guys. It also seems like he has a very good awareness of what he's trying to accomplish when he's on the field. We have to see how well he can improvise on a broken play...which, IMO, has always been Smith's greatest asset.
