Well. Nellie's was still able to survive...

ETA: Nellie's was a whorehouse that was granted prostitution in Natchez. Only under the terms that the heir of Nellie(black folk) would continue running it, because it is a resort town/city...

Miss Nellie was badly burned when a drunk potential patron was turned away then came back pissed off and set the place on fire.

She passed away shortly thereafter and I don't think it ever reopened, supposedly once her "black book" disappeared.

At least that's what I was told.
