Find a post, one, where I said that. I have said Miles is hardheaded and is quick to revert to chickenshit football many times. I stand by that 100%

And when I say chicken shite, I mean as playing not to lose worse and conceding the game as a loss

When something isn't working on the field, it's best to play to your strengths even it takes going to the extremes. The staff did what it had to do last season which is what good coaches do.

quote:

In what has to be an obvious conclusion now that regular season is over, the LSU Tigers’ coaching staff reached the correct conclusion in committing to the running game. In fact, doing so likely saved the season for the Tigers due to the uneven performances of the quarterbacks. Freshman Leonard Fournette would become the featured running back, and LSU Tigers football synonymous with running it down your throat.

quote:

In the days before the Florida game in early October (and after the debacle at Auburn), LSU coach Les Miles stated that the Tigers would be a run-first team, and he stayed true to that commitment for the remainder of the season. Even when there were in-game situations calling for passing, Miles and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron remained steadfast to the run-first philosophy.

quote:

LSU started off 0-2 in SEC play, losses that reinforced the Tigers’ inefficiencies on offense, mainly quarterback play. The fact that the Tigers rebounded to win four of its last six SEC games is a testament to the coaching staff’s commitment to the offensive philosophy of pounding the rock.
