Not always. Teens are inherently stupid. In fact, many of them are so stupid they've fooled themselves into thinking they're smart. And in many instances the old saying of "Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience." holds true. In their ignorant little hormone saddled minds they're already smarter than you and thus will not listen to anything you have to say. Of course it does not help they've probably been coddled by their shitty parents their whole life being taught it's their world and everyone else just lives in it and allowed to have a disrespectful "I'll do whatever i want" attitude either.
Now get off my damn lawn.

Back when I was in high school, me and a bunch of guys were over at a buddy's house hanging out and running our mouths about something, and I happened to notice his dad sitting there listening to us with a smirk on his face. I asked him why he was smiling like that and he said something along the lines of, "Oh, I was just sitting here thinking that if I were anywhere near as smart today as I was when I was 16 that I would have conquered the world by now."
I didn't understand what he was getting at back then, but 15 years later, I still remember that simple comment and the older I get, the more profound it seems to become.
