To burn fat and to stay in good shape. No matter how hard I lift, I've found it does very little for true cardio endurance. Running hard for 30 minutes keeps my heart rate elevated and burns more fat than weight training in that same time window.

I am 25 and i do more cardio than anything. Well currently doing p90x3 but before i when i was going the gym/running. I was just doing it to stay somewhat strong and because i like leg day.

I also just enjoy running more than lifting weights, it is really easy for me to skip a few reps but its hard for me get home when i am 3 miles away.
