a qb recruit that would start 34 games at lsu and he would finish in the top 6 of every major passing statistic in lsu history
Any QB who started 34 games would almost have to finish in the top 6 or so of LSU career stats. How many QBs have started that many games at LSU? It's gotta be less than ten.

Well, in the last 40 years.. you have Russell, Howard, Hodson, Tyler, and Wickersham.
I'm sure there are a handful more from 1896-1980.

If a qb isn't good there is no way he reaches top 6 in compl %,8th in career qb rating, nor does he have the 9th best passing season in lsu history(2009).his 200 9th season he finished top 5,in the sec, in qb rating and was 2nd ,in the sec, in completion %.

Just because a qb starts 34 games doesn't mean he will finish 5th in total tds for his career. Nor does it mean he will hold the single season qb rushing record.
Like I've argued from the start. JJ may not even be considered a good qb his entire career, but in no way did he suck his entire career and it's a fact he was one of the most productive qbs in lsu history.
I really would've liked to have seen what JLEE could've been had Crowton not ruined him. Everyone in America could see that he wasn't handling the blitz well and Crowton continued to call 5 and 7 step drop and very rarely called rb draws or screens. JLee had one of the quickest releases I've seen in cfb.
