If work ethic was Harris' #1 issue last year than we should expect the coaches to keep pushing him not matter what.

Why anyone thinks that any coach will say anything relevant about the team in terms of who will play, etc is naive. They never provide any information. Why even bother listening?

Get ready for a healthy dose of Jennings!

So, we have 11 pages on a quote that would resemble what about 99.9% of coaches would say at this point in the offseason.
I want BH to start, just because I think Jennings is terrible, but to deny just how bad Harris was against AU is obtuse.
There is plenty of validity to the argument that Jennings may in fact be better than Harris.

My two cents: I just don't think Jennings is an SEC-caliber QB. If he were a game manager that didn't make a lot of mistakes, I'd be willing to accept him as the starter. But as we know, he does make quite a few mistakes. Given that, I'd rather go with Harris, who will no doubt make mistakes, too, but has markedly more physical skills than Jennings.
I think this could be a watershed year for Cameron, b/c he's getting paid a ton of money, and, I don't think two years in a row of garbage QB play is acceptable. I am cautiously optimistic that Cam can coach up Harris and that he will be a pleasant surprise this year.
I would love to see them call first down passing plays -- short passes to the tight end and backs -- to allow Harris to gain some confidence in the pocket and get his feet under him (like we've seen other teams do with inexperienced QBs.)
Also, in general, more passes to the tight ends, and screen passes (regular screen passes to backs and not "bubble screens" to wide receivers) please.

I'd be more worried that Harris will leave, especially if our QB coach can't make him better than what we had the last 2 years. Harris has to be wondering what he has to do to get an opportunity to get enough experience to be viable.
