It was one of those things where we need to be secure with each other. Not to mention we had someone else live with us so it was only fair if all three of us were on a lease.

She got the bbc didn't she? Don't worry pay your lease out and move on. If you don't bbc ain't paying either so then your screwed.

Ok. Well just give 30-days written notice (it doesn't need to be notarized or anything, but keep a copy for yourself) and request a final statement for repairs, utilities, etc. and ask that it be taken out of your deposit. If you owe after that, cut a check. If you're owed, leave a forwarding address (unless you can just pick it up).
