He actually lived a long, god life by pro wrestlers' standards. Between the roids, drugs, alcohol and unhealthy lifestyle, a lot of these guys, their hearts explode from all the abuse.

I think it's a bit different now, but alot of those guys in the 70's-late 90's were taking drugs after they woke up, several pain pills during the day, drinking like fish after their show, and then taking something to go to sleep. Not to mention taking steroids.

I heard an interview with Del Wilkes today, who was The Patriot in the late 90's. He was taking 120 pain pills a day at one point, not including the somas and xanax he'd use to go to sleep.
