You know what they say about assuming, I presume?
Just because they can make people have a certain type of reaction with their "funny hat" does not prove at all that some people are predisposed to religion. Well to be honest I truly hope that isn't what it means, that would be so sad. Imagine if 20% of people were lost from birth, that would be a tough pill to swallow.

I'm going to bring my son to an interview at a Christian school so I can't dive deep into this thread right now. It is interesting though.

I grew up in a religious home, was in church from an early age. I didn't think it was bullshite, exactly, but it just never affected me. I just looked around at all the people experiencing the sermon or whatever, and felt nothing. So when I got older, I walked away from it and never looked back.
If I wore this helmet, I'd probably be in the 20% that felt nothing. If that means I'm lost from birth, so be it.
