On the other hand, when it comes time to name the roster they could call up Barca and ask if they see his situation changing over the next 3 weeks. If they get a "no" or "maybe", maybe he gets called in.

Gregg said that when asked about Bryan Reynolds' availability in regards to new club/manager, but other Euro-guys who aren't on the Nations League roster that it could refer to are Chris Richards if he goes back to Bayern or gets loaned elsewhere, Daryl Dike if he is sold. CCV wherever he is loaned/sold to, Hoppe at Schalke and Boyd if he gets loaned out again.
Kind of sucks, because this tournament would've been great for the staff to get a long evaluation period with some of our young fringe euro-guys. Instead, we're probably going to Chris Mueller and most of the U-23 olympic qualifying squad, and that's hard to get excited for.
