We stopped there in high school to eat on a baseball trip. They wouldn't serve our black teammates at all. Then they finally agreed to serve them if they went and got it to go from the back door.

Absolutely 100% happened. We were headed from Pelham to play Grisham in North Alabama.
We stopped at an exit that had several food options close by. Some guys went to grab waffle house and they absolutely would not serve our 2 black teammates.
